Book Number TEN.
TEN BOOKS, IN TEN DAYS – ONLY THREE MORE TO GO 😀
The Slippery Slope has more wit, and tongue in cheek wordplay than most of the previous books before. I love how Snicket just places his jokes on the page, they just dance around you, making you chuckle without you really realising it.
I like Sunny having more to do here, and being a brave little Baudelaire and wanted to stay to spy on Count Olaf. The children didn’t seem to have such a hard time in this instalment. I think the little Quagmire had the slightly more harder time. I mean, it can’t all be about the Baudelaires… 😉
