The Hostile Hospital Book Review (A Series of Unfortunate Events #8)

The Hostile Hospital (A Series of Unfortunate Events, #8)The Hostile Hospital by Lemony Snicket

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well Lou & Milt, they can it seems!
In this (more exciting than the last couple) instalment the Baudelaires were running from the Vile Village, before they run into a shop to hide. Milt welcomes them at first until the delivery man (Lou) gives the newspaper with the siblings’ faces smacked bang on the front. The shopkeeper and the delivery man chase them around the shop *hence CAN’T HIDE FOREVER* Until the Baudelaires run into a moving van with a bunch of singers in the back on their way to Heimlich Hospital.

All three Baudelaires get a job in the Library of Records, steal the key to stay there when MY OH MY in bursts Count Olaf.
Pursuits ensue, Violet is captured, nearly operated on, before Klaus and Sunny break her out, a fire starts in the Library of Records and they have to abseil out of a window and then hide in Count Olaf’s trunk in the boot of his car.
Out of breath yet?

We find out a few more clues in this book regarding their parents- which was very exciting and one of the largest twists we have had since the beginning of the series.
A good solid BOOK THE EIGHTH!

What did you guys think of this book? Hope your readathons are going well, less than a week of being unfortunate left!
