Everything Everything Book Review

Everything, EverythingEverything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was phenomenal. For a debut novel, it had such depth, such emotion and such a breath of fresh air onto my book shelves.. Nicola Yoon and her husband who did the beautiful illustrations make a perfect pair for this perfectly touching story. They add so much to the book, so much of Maddie’s character is brought forth from those different pages. It is true what other’s have said, you can read this in one sitting, it is really, really hard not to.

I will not say much because of spoilers, but I was taken to places I wasn’t expecting from the blurb of this book – I wasn’t even expecting twists – and this book spun them into my lap before I could open my eyes properly to see them. I love Olly and Maddie – their romance was not over done, it was realistic with a great build and I love them for it –
The other relationships are extremely well done as well, there is nothing in this book I would change, and that is why it gets a perfect 5 out of 5.

You’re not living, if you’re not regretting.

Now I am heading off to grab some chocolate and more tissues as my face feels like it’s drowning underneath my tears – what a book.
